FOCUSING ON THE FUTURE

                             

The future is a very big one that no man know  or have an idea on how it's gonna look like.Although we have dreams and goals on how we all want our future to appear.Its a good thing to have our future planed out and have great hope and expectations.Of course what we hope for is what we get if we put in effort in that hope. We look forward to having an amazing life and hoping all we ever ask for to come to pass.For most of us hoping is want keeps in alive and we keep fighting because we hope for a greater tommorow.We all can't wait to see that day we will drive the car of dreams, live in the house of our dream, marry the kind of partner we love to be with, live the kind of life that we deserve, give our loved ones the good things of life, make impact in the society and make our society a good place.I bet every human on earth thinks that way you know, who would not want a great life and a great tommorow.
Focusing on the future is the best way to actualize that dream of yours, no doubt about that. When we don't concentrate on what  is after us, we tend to get there at all cost. But the reason why we fail is we focus more on the future and loose focus on what is in front on us. We don't recognize our future and dream because we have devouted our selves to that perfect life of the future and when opportunities comes our way we don't take because it doesn't look like where we are going, it doesn't look attractive and easy. We all hope for this great life and we patiently wait for it, thinking that when it comes we will grab it but when the future comes In disguise we don't recognize it because we are busy waiting for the perfect one.
The future we all love to see, is not what we think it will look like. It will trick us into not believing it, it will deceive us not grab it, so it goes to the people that wants in dearly and the people that can welcome it with open arms when it comes. I can say literally that the future we hope doesn't exist unless we build and create it with what we have in our hands. It comes that people that wants to make something out what is available and at there disposal, it does come to people that wants it as they have dreamt it.
Where we live now,is what somebody created with the thing he had, he didn't want till he had what he wanted but he started his future with his own hands. That is to say that the future we think it's far, lies with us, it's in our hands to make. We build it, we create it, it is not already made.Why not we look at what is in front of us and made something out of them, why not we look deeply and analysis what is available to see how we can turn it into a futune.It is the raw materials around us that when we discover then, we turn it to futune then it paves way for a great future for us.
WHATEVER WE DO NOW, WILL BE USED FOR OR AGAINST US IN THE COURSE OF OUR FUTURE. If we choose to ignore what we have in or around us, it will tell on us tomorrow. Let's learn to accept what we have now and focus on them  instead of focusing more on a mere fantasy.Whatever God wants us to be, the raw materials has already been made available  for us, it's just that we refuse to acknowledge them..
We focus more on the focus than we do  on the Now, it's the Now that gives us a rare view  of what the future is gonna look like in terms of the decision we talk today. Look closely, there is something hidden from your eyes that can make you a futune, we sometimes are blinded by our greed that is why we don't get to the promise land. Make sure you exhauste all the available options. The future is Now, it's here and it is in you and around you.

AN ADVICE TO ONESELF

 INTRODUCTION

       
             
     
Talking about motivation,yes the very name of the blog. Motivation is a word that is very dear to me because all through my life, i have sort for a medium to motivate my self.You know, when i was growing up,i didn't get the chance of going to church although i am a Christian not to talk of reading books.I just lived life with no concern of how my tomorrow will be,I had no vision for tomorrow  and so i sort for way to get motivated.And i end up going to church and getting close to GOD and that began my journey to success.When i encountered God my eyes opened,yeah as it was in the bible about when Adam and Eve ate the fruit,but this was positively not negatively.My life changed right from that period,i didn't know i have been in darkness for longtime unknowing to me.But GOD changed my orientation and my believe system.I had hope for a better future for the first time in my life.
After so many years in the church ,i was very happy with my new personality and all that is happening around me,but something was still wrong somewhere,in the sense that the church i was going at that moment didn't talk about financial success and i needed it.Because its one thing to be a Christian and its another to be a rich Christian .Most churches dodge preaching financial topics because they feel money is a sin,as a result i wanted answers because i wanted financial freedom.So,as time went on i started asking questions about financial freedom right there in the church  but my pastor knew little or no knowledge about money.I began to worry and continue my inquiry and because of my various questions,i was given a name by the church and by my friends.They call me a man that wants to be wealthy and make a difference,when i talk about money to them,they sometimes wonder if i am truly a Christian or if the love of money has carried me away.Then i started point out bible verses about money and that God wants everybody  to be wealthy not just rich.I am happy to say that,at the end of the day the church started getting the idea that money is not a sin but in the cause of looking for money  one can commit sin.
Some of us as Christians while in the church, hear the pastor preach every day and those that are of other religions too, we hear our religious leaders speak every now and then,they inspire us.Some of us have great friend that gives us great advice's and some of us have great parents that teach us the way to go and be successful too. We now have mentors that have succeeded and we want to be like them,we imitate them and copy there life style. Isn't it great that the whole wide world is full of inspiration, we just can't get enough of inspiration.Every single day, a new motivational speakers come up and talk to us, all to make us succeed right?. Yeah right


                                               QUEST TO FINANCIAL UNDERSTANDING
I sort  for other forms of motivation apart from the one i hear in church,i wanted financial freedom at all cost,i wanted financial advice and understanding,i wanted a different story from the one i hear regularly.I wanted to hear from people that has made it in life but i am not saying churches does not teach about financial success,in fact the first financial success speech i heard was from a pastor of another church,i was surprised as anything you could think of,that a pastor would talk about financial freedom the way he did with verses backing it up.That was when my last eye opened and i became very hungry for financial liberty.NOTE:why do i say financial freedom? its because when you do not have money,you become a slave to it,it tells how to spend,when and it controls you and may even get you in trouble.That is why i said if we die poor its a sin,i am not saying that all poor people are sinners but if you die poor without causing a little or huge impact in your surrounding then its a shame.So my quest to financial understanding opened when i heard the pastor speak,i was happy with my self from that day on.And as time went by i started reading some other motivational books and listened to some other motivational speakers apart from my pastor.So official i had my first financial freedom speech,it was a great deal to me.
 
                                             MOTIVATION IS EVERYWHERE
There are thousands and millions of books on how to get inspired in other to make it in life, if not billions of books even.Books are been published every time, articles here and there, audio speeches, live conferences are been held just to make us grow and be enlightened right. Reality TV shows,talk shows are virtually every where are now the trend in the our society today, just to make it feel real and to connect it the viewers more.We can't really measure the amount of inspiration we get per minute in a day.I mean some of us have children that are there always to support us and encourage us, isn't that an inspiration and motivation to work harder.Some of us have loving partners  that is ready to pass through anything to make us happy, that is also motivation. Motivation and encouragement is everywhere and in surplus.
   
    QUESTIONS THAT BORDERED ME AFTER READING A WHOLE OF BOOKS AND LISTENED TO VARIOUS MOTIVATIONAL SPEECHES AND RELIGIOUS MESSAGES.

 But have we tried to ask our selves this question ❓.. We get enough motivation and inspiration from people all over the world, why then ain't we satisfied we it and why ain't we successful yet?. There are thousands of tips on how to be successful in life by thousands of great people that has made it in life, they are practical examples of great people and they tell us what made them successful but most of us upon hearing this isn't successful still, why is that so?. Have we sat down to answer this question ❓. If no,pause now and try to answer it before you continue.
We all want people that has been successful in life to be our mentors and they are the ones we listen to, most  of us even copy every thing about these people we look up to, I am not saying there is anything wrong with that though.Do not get me wrong, I also have people I look up to and want to be successful as they are but there is something missing somewhere because we have followed there instructions and tips on how to get successful all to no avail, instead they get richer and richer and produce more TV show and we continue watching and God forbid, we continue been a fan til the day we die.
Most of us are great readers, we have read all whole lot of books in our life time, we have had friends that has been successful, but what is happening to us, why ain't we successful as they are.
In other words, motivational speeches and tips on how to be successful and so on and so forth, has made a lot of people successful really, yes it has created and produced great men and women and thanks to those motivational material they where exposed to. Now, why are some successful and some are not successful on getting exposed to the same materials.Do you know why?.
The answer is because they are not hungry for success!!!. Funny right?... No matter the amount of books you read in your life time, no matter the amount of conference you go, no matter the amount of successful people you surround yourself with, no matter the kind of religion you practice, no matter your background, no matter the amount of advice and support you get, if you are not hungry for success, it will not work, you will continue been a fan to those you have read there books and heard them speak and you will continue been in the audience when you go to a Talk show. Some people hears a word for just one time and they make a fortune out of it and some hears the same word every day and nothing changes. What I am saying in a nut shell, is if you do not put it on your veins and blood stream then success is far.Let what you have read overwhelm you, let your hunger for success take control, let passion for greatness lead the way, let you dream dictate. It's one thing to believe and another to believe and act upon what you believe.

           FURTHER  ANSWER I DISCOVERED OVER THE YEARS/ADVICE TO ONESELF

The problem is most of us wait to hear from motivational speeches and books but we forget to listen to ourselves.We have read and listened, but we have not read ourselves and let the advice come from the inside, let the encouragement come from the inside, let the hope come from within not from what you are been told.The encouragement we need is within y'all, stop looking for something external to motivate you, find something within. An advice to oneself is the best advice in the world,you can work with it, Live with it and actualize it as well. When there is a huge hunger for success inside of you, you don't wait for some one to pat your back and kiss you on the chick before you stand up and make it happen.
                                                                .IN CONCLUSION

If you are among these category of people, get up and listen to yourself. And you know, most of us has been become frustrated and have become tired of motivational speakers and books because it seems to be an impossibility but do not lose hope. Continue reading and listen to motivational speeches it's the best thing you can do to your self but let the inspiration come from the inside.      People that write and speak do not know your present situation, we just assume and generalize it, only you can understand your self better than any one would ever do, so chill and have cool and nice conversation with your self. Tell your self the truth, you want to be successful or NOT.OR you just want to live and pass away with no difference.

PLAN NOT TO FAIL

                                    
75% of us do not plan, we sit and wait for peoples plan and ideas to covers and we enjoy from them. Some wait for the government to provide jobs, create social securities,pension,child benefits,insurances, ect .There is nothing wrong looking up to your government to do what they are supposed to do.But how long you should you wait is the question you should ask your self.While another category of people wait on family, perhaps your family is rich kind of and we now rely on that. Another category of people build there future on what they are been told by friends,the world, religion etc, perhaps they have promised to take care.How long should you wait?.While some are neither warm nor cold nor hot, they are just there.
Most of us today are so indecisive, and i get it, i mean with so many negative things happen here and there, who plans in a frustrating condition right. What i am saying is that you should determine your future on your own,by yourself and for your self. You are the only architect of your future and except you sit down or sit up and plan for it step by step, nothing will happen.
Secondly, most people do not plan because of lack of hope and believe either in themselves or on life.Look,except you decide to take your life and stop living, you can not escape from the reality of life. While you sit down and do nothing remember you got to feed, you got family and friends to take care of,you got bills to take care of. So instead of sit down and worry if your plan would work out, get up and put your life together. Do not allow the issues of life to distract you, and make you derail from your purpose.its all gonna pass if you watch it critically and look for another alternative.Of course that is what is all about,planning is all about alternatives.If this didn't work, I got to try this other one.
                  BE READY AND ARM YOURSELF WITH THESE WEAPON

1).Always dissect your present situation and have a good understanding of it.

2).Make sure you always have another plan,an alternative

3).Do not compromise, or else you will be vulnerable to the enemy and exposed

4).Put all you have to make it work out

5). Make sure JESUS is your commander in Chief and Executive officer of your plan.

You ve got to plan, you have to be ready and be strategic at all time.What do we tell our families tomorrow if we fail to plan, what do we offer to them if we sit back and sleep. Remember we are going to have kids tomorrow, what shall we tell them. Some of us even have kids now,have we tried out all options to make them happy?.our indecisiveness will not put food on there table,  Let's have a rethink and go back to the drawing board and get things done the right way.

You simply can't eat your cake and have it. It's not Miracle, I mean people with no plan on how to succeed in life, can not just succeed, it's not possible. There is no magic to it, it's as simple as ABC, IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN, YOU PLAN TO FAIL, there is no better way to explain that statement than it is. Lazy people with no plan whatsoever always want magic or Miracle to happen within a twinkle of an eye, but it doesn't work that way, you can't cheat nature, nature has it that the amount of plan and preparation you put into something, determines the kind of result you cabbage in cabbage out.

So many that has succeed sat down and planned out there life,they read,they had sleepless nights and because they have put in there best,the best result was theirs. Every single thing in the world today started from an idea or from a plan,nothing came into existence without somebody thoroughly thinking it out,planning it out.We now enjoy the ideas and work of people today because some people wanted to make the world a better place.You also can contribute your own quota if you will sit up and plan on how to execute those beautiful ideas of yours.An idea is just as valueless as anything until it has been acted upon.Truly i say to you,many of us will die with our ideas someday because we have listened to what the world is saying,because we did not create the time to act upon those beautiful ideas.You might not know what is in there for you except you try,remove the mindset of failure.You wouldn't know your capacity and the strength you have got if you do not carry out that plan of yours.

Ideas are from God,its a gift from God to cause change in your life and in humanity as well.But the decision to work on those ideas is your sole choice and its your sign of appreciation to God too..If you do not work on them until you pass away then its a shame.GET UP TODAY AND START FROM SOMEWHERE...When you are prepared and have planned very well,you can not be beaten easily,even when you fall,you will rise and become stronger then you were.

IT'S IMMINENT FOR YOU TO PLAN

"IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN THEN YOU PLAN TO FAIL", There is so much in this short statement or quote than you can imagine. I think it's one of my favorite quote back when we were in school. I mean my principal, he was a christian and he always taught about planning.He said so many things to us, and then we felt that he was just ranting and shouting at us, we didn't read in between the lines you know.He told us we should always have a plan in mind or else, something else we take us by surprise.We were young and naive, what can we possibly plan for or about, is the question we often ask ourselves in high school(secondary school). He said one day we will remember all he has taught us and that we will appreciate him and it turned to be true,we all miss him now.
And after secondary school, I kept that saying in mind "it's either you plan or you plan to fail". I began breaking it gradually and with time I began to digest it. But it never affected my life till I heard another saying,that says "He that fails to plan has nothing to live for, to live by, and to Live with", at that moment it made perfect sense to me.That was one of the few quotes that transform my thinking and orientation.
My orientation at first was sticking to the normal process, following the procedure, waiting on things to fall in place and waiting on my parents and people around me to tell me who I am.
Furthermore, life places a demand and makes it imminent for you to plan. It can't be avoided nor can it be escaped.A man that has no plans for his future is just like a walking corpse, waiting to vanish out of the earth.Most people do not plan because of some many things anyways. We give ourselves reason why we do not plan. We give the world reason that suits our believe system and we become comfortable with it. We have so many excuses prepared to defend ourselves at any moment we are asked what our plans are.

 SOME EXCUSES WE GIVE FOR NOT PLANNING FOR OUR FUTURE
When we are asked what our plans are for the nearest future, often we say these things

1). I am currently in school, when I am out I will think about it

2). I am too young, I have many years to go still, so it's not time yet

3).I am looking up to God?

4).I do know what to plan about?

5).What do I have to plan with.?

We often say these things, and as time passes by,the opportunities of yesterday are lost and the opportunities of today we will never come because we've refused to map out our life from the on set.
In a nut shell, what I am saying is that, do not sit back and wait for future to fall in place without any strategic plan. We all dream big, and hope for money and happiness but those doesn't come if we sit back and do nothing. We got map out Plan on how to catch that dream.For instance let's imagine a troop of soldiers going for war without a strategic plan on to overcome and the defeat the enemy,you will see that the troop with a plan will surprise the other and ultimately win the battle. So it is in life, our dreams and goal is like a battle field, and except we sit back and plan we can't achieve it.
LIFE sets traps for us, or should I say hurdles, no traps because if we fail to plan and fail then it becomes a trap, but if we plan and succeed then hurdle crossed.

FIVE QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ANSWER, TO PREPARE YOU FOR WHATSOEVER IS AHEAD!!

1). What have i kept in place in case I am taken by surprise?

2).Do I have all it takes to win the battle?

3).What is my plan B just in case I fail

4).Do I know the tricks of the enemy, you must know who the enemy is all about before you can defeat it

5).Is my plan in line with the word of our Lord Jesus?.

In conclusion,lets bear in mind that even if our plan A and plan B fails,we still have 24 alphabets left to utilize.Instead of sitting back and not plan because of the fear to fail,plan and fail and plan and fail over and over again until you get it right.

THE WORLD TODAY

I most times talk about life and its issues because its very huge to conclude,it has so many entanglements you know.If you take a survey and ask different people that comes from different backgrounds,for example:christians has absolutely a different view of life,likewise other religions of the world,even the ordinary or layman out there.But over the years,the world has been characterized with cruelty,evil,horror and ill fate etc.Most people has lost the tiniest amount of hope on the world we are.But come to think about it, what's there in this world for us, of what benefits or gain has the world offered us, is there any hope in this cruel world?. We can't deny the fact that the world has been lost even from the beginning,Jeremiah17:9 says the heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure,who can understand it?. And another says in 1john5:19:We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. So what is trying to say is that the world is polluted by evil that men do through the prince of this world, which is the Devil. The bible has said in so many places that the world cannot be redeemed, its full of atrocities, abominations, injustices, wickedness in high places.
No matter how we try to deny and dodge from the fact that the world is not ours but it's owned by the devil and it's agents, it's the truth,there is no truth or light in the world today. Darkness has taken over like there has not been light before.People now forget about the good because the bad and evil  has eating into heart of men like a worm.Taboos has now become a culture and its been welcome by the world at large.Evil is now been celebrated by us.Good has diminished, and it's evaporating into the tin air by seconds.
Men of this world now define things in a way it suits them, there is so much liberty to the extent that man can go inquest for comfort-ability,ith no restrictions of any kind,we are been very loose and open to the world at hand.Liberty has really caused us our sanity.Yeah!!. I think pretty much the so called liberty is the cause, and the so called fun.
So why should I have  trust in this world anyways, what is in here for me?.Absolutely nothing, the world has nothing to offer me, except misery,new sickness surfacing every point in time, hate,wickedness, death,sorrow etc. The world has no good on it to offer to us. We do not belong here.Readers might be wondering why I am just saying negative things about the world and not anything positive, well because there isn't any good by the way. I am not trying to discourage people, of course you know I have dedicated my time in encouraging people and making them see hope and believe in themselves, but what I am saying, is if you trust in this world it will fail and offer you death.
We are messengers and passengers in this world, on the end of our journey and purpose, we have a report to give to our master on how we went about his message.And our master is God through his son Jesus Christ. We all have a duty to give account of our stewardship on the last day.
In conclusion,it's only in Jesus you can find total freedom that leads to eternal life, the freedom of the world doesn't give life, but instead it gives death,people that claim to be free without Jesus are not free but in bondage. If even you don't take anything from this article, but take note of this in the bible John8:36:Whosoever that the son sets free, he is free in deed.That means is only the Jesus that can guarantee absolute freedom.You would begin to ask what do I need to be free from?,you have to be free from so many things like diseases, sorrow, poverty,sin etc, and it's only in Jesus, that is the truth my brothers and sisters.The world can not offer you what it doesn't have. Yes the world has given you what it has,and that is darkness, why not experience what light is like and compare. He said he has come to give us back what the prince if this world has taken from us. The world is the kingdom of the devil, he does as he pleases in it, if you want to be a citizen of the heavenly kingdom, then you have to follow Jesus, he is the way, the truth and life, no one can come to the Father except through him. Do not be deceived by the beautiful nature of this world,God created it,  and that same God is saying that the world has become corrupt. So whom would you believe,God or the devil (world).
He is calling us into his freedom folks, let's run and embrace or source and our salvation.
...... THE WORLD CAN NOT GIVE WHAT IT DOESN'T HAVE 

FIVE QUESTIONS YOU HAVE TO ASK TO REASSURE YOURSELF

It's a question that needs to be answered personally, why do we do what we do?. OK let's make it personal why do I do what I do?. If you have started pursuing your goal without answering these question, then you have not started on the right path. Why majority of people fail in their endeavors, is because they don't ask their questions on why they want to engage in what they want to engage. The moment you ask your self some questions and you answer it without all honesty without deceiving your self, then you have a good background and a good start as well. It's important and paramount that these questions be asked.
Now let me ask my self this same question, why do you do what you do Confidence? (my name).I have different and various reasons to tell myself anytime I need to reassure myself that I am still on the right path.

1).How much do I love what I do?
2).What is in there for me?

3).What length can I go to achieve my purpose?

4).Is it worth my time?

5). What can I give or get in exchange for what I am DOING?

The moment you find answers to these questions within yourself, not by asking someone else, do not ask another person to confirm your self, you must trust yourselves enough to standby what you feel inside.Its either you ask yourself or life itself would have to ask you by treating you wrongly, either way.
